Favorite Things About the Club: One of my favorite parts of run club is team dinner. Every Thursday night we all meet up at Brody or a local restaurant to share dinner. I love getting to eat ~4 plates of food and some ice cream while catching up with the club. It is a great way to get know people in a non-running format, and Tom Izzo has even been known to show up now and then.

Anything Else the Club Should Know: As the travel coordinator I have been searching for inspiration on new, more effective ways to get to our meets and events. Carpooling has simply become too much of a liability. I was discussing this issue with coach Tom Izzo at team dinner recently, when, in his brilliance, he suggested using hot air balloons. They're the perfect solution. They're easy to operate, require little fuel, and can land directly at the meet locations. I will do everything in my power to lead a new initiative this school year ensuring that from now on the run club will travel in style, in hot air balloons.
