Position: President Year: Junior Major: Material Science & Engineering Hometown: Bolingbrook, Il Favorite Event/Distance: 8k What are your favorite things about the Club? My favorite part of the club is that it’s a great way to explore MSU and meet new people. I didn’t know there were cows on campus until going down farm lane and adventuring into the agricultural part of campus. Coming on runs at practice is a great way to go out and explore the area and get comfortable with your new home away from home. Plus of course you get to do that with all the new people you meet and get to know through all the social events, travel meets, and other activities the club plans. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? The Michigan left is the worst thing ever created. Why can’t I just turn left at the light. |

Position: Vice President of Administration Year: Senior Major: Computer Science Minor: Information and Communication Technology and Development Hometown: Plainfield, IL Favorite Event/Distance: 400m Hurdles What are your favorite things about the Club? My favorite thing about the club has to be the people. Even when we aren't running or doing a workout, some of my fondest memories from college so far has been adventures I've gone on with people that I met through the club. It was hard for me to find my place at the university when I came to MSU as an out of state student who didn't know very many people, but I'm glad the club provided a welcoming environment for me to thrive in. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? My lock for this year's NFL season is Detroit Lions u9.5 wins. I expect a 10% finder's fee from anyone that takes this advice. |

Position: Vice President of Operations & Sprint Training Chair Year: Junior Major: Electrical Engineering Junior Hometown: Macomb, MI Favorite Event/Distance: 400m Hurdles and relays What are your favorite things about the Club? You might come for the running but you will stay for the people. MSURC has some of the most dedicated, kind, and funny members I have ever met. It's hard to beat the feeling of pounding out a workout with the team, hyping each other up before a big race, or laughing at the team dinners. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? Grant + Matthew in Ultimate frisbee is a more elite combo than Kobe + Shaq or Jordan + Pippen |

Position: Social Event Coordinator Year: Junior Major: Psychology and Criminal Justice Minor: Law, Justice and Public Policy Hometown: Leland, MI Favorite Event/Distance: 5k What are your favorite things about the Club? My favorite aspect of the club is the memories made on and off of the course. Whether it be from traveling to new meets and experiencing new courses to attending a wide array of social events, there are countless opportunities to create unforgettable memories with MSURC. Some of my favorites include Nats in Virginia, numerous other travel meets, fall festivities, and even as simple as the "intellectual" conversations had while embarking on our runs at practice. If you are hesitant about joining I highly recommend coming out to a practice at the holy steps of IM West to give us a shot, you won't regret it! As always club or die! Position: Apparel Coordinator Year: Sophomore Major: Political Science Hometown: Brighton, MI Favorite Event/Distance: 5K What are your favorite things about the Club? I really enjoy being in the club for the social aspect. It is really fun to see the diverse group people that run club brings out. There are people from all across the country and world (Rip Achille). I also think it is really cool that everyone trains for different reasons, whether someone’s out there every trying to run Varsity or just out a few times a month to stay in shape or even just a social member, it is awesome that everyone is accepted no matter their personal goals. Anything else you'd like everyone to know? If you are just sightly interested in joining run club do it. I was on the fence about joining last year, and it has been one of my best decisions.
